Kosovo: Police in the north of Mitrovica seized dangerous objects that could endanger citizens
Competent police units, “based on relevant information received from citizens, undertook urgent investigative and operational actions in the case of Bosniak Mahala in northern Mitrovica, carried out a control operation, and found improvised barbed wire (hedgehogs), smoke bombs, ammunition, and uniforms in it”.
“The uniform that was found today is similar to the uniforms used by the terrorist group in Banjska in September of this year,” the police said in a statement.
It is added that operational police actions in the field are continuing to identify other suspicious objects to prevent endangering citizens or prevent any attack on the Kosovo police who work to maintain order and guarantee security.
“The Kosovo Police thanks the citizens for their continued support and cooperation to guarantee greater safety for everyone,” the statement concludes.
