In Serbia, another 148 people have been registered for the virus coronary virus infection, and there are a total of 1,624 diseased people.

Five people have died and a total of 44 deaths have been reported as a result of a coronary virus infection, Director of the Infectious Clinic Goran Stevanovic told reporters in Belgrade today.

There are 89 people on the respirators.

A total of 1,047 people were hospitalized and 69 were quarantined at the Belgrade Fair.

People posted at the Belgrade Fair were tested and 38 were negative for the corona virus.

They will be tested again in the next 24 to 48 hours, and if the results are negative for the virus again, they will be released and placed in home isolation for a fixed period.

“The fair is intended to be a temporary hospital. Only corona virus positive patients are referred to the protocol, and those with minimal symptomatology are also referred to,” Stevanovic said.

Since yesterday’s report to date, another 645 people have been tested in Serbia, and a total of 6,401 people have been tested for the new virus since it began testing.

Novi Pazar is a new focal point in Serbia

A new focal point for the virus infection in Serbia is opening in Novi Pazar and is actively working on the complete rehabilitation of the hospital that will be set up in that city, said the director of the Belgrade Infectious Clinic, Goran Stevanovic.

He told a daily news conference about the pandemic that several respirators and teams of doctors from Belgrade had been sent to Novi Pazar, and that doctors or patients would be transferred from city to city to best respond to needs.

Verica Jovanovic, director of the Belgrade Institute of Public Health “Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut”, confirmed that Cuprija is one of the largest foci of the virus coronas in Serbia and that there are about 50 cases of infection, that all measures are applied, and the most severe patients are referred to regional centers.

Asked for information on the number of people infected in nursing homes and Belgrade’s Dr Dragisa Misovic Hospital, Dr Jovanovic said she would submit later, but stressed that all measures were being implemented, that there were enough doctors and nurses, as well as equipment and that staff were employed daily arrange as needed.

Doctors have previously told reporters that 148 more corona infected with the virus have been confirmed in Serbia, and in the last 24 hours five people have died as a result of the infection.
