Israel arrests Al-Aqsa preacher Sheikh Ekrima Sabri

The preacher has taken far from home, no purpose given for the arrest

Israeli forces arrested Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, from his residence in occupied East Jerusalem on Wednesday morning, a relative tells Anadolu Agency

Israeli police and intelligence groups surrounded the residence and requested Sheikh Sabri to accompany them, a relative advised Anadolu Agency, asking now no longer to be named for safety reasons.

“The Israelis did now no longer provide any purpose for his arrest,” he said.

Sheikh Sabri’s residence is inside the Al-Sawana location that overlooks Jerusalem’s Old City.

The Israeli government have arrested the preacher a couple of instances in the beyond or even banned him from coming into Al-Aqsa Mosque for numerous months.
