DOBA’s online study model
Online studies are conducted in a virtual teaching environment with the continued support of online tutors. Studies are modular – you only study one course at a time, which lasts from 4 to 6 weeks. You schedule your own study time daily, and you can study in the afternoon, in the afternoon from home… in the evening… in an environment where you feel comfortable. Excellence in concept, technology and support make your success a success. Two international accreditations confirm that online studies at our faculty are conducted to high international standards.
What we need for online studies
Hardware equipment
modern and powerful enough personal or laptop computer (recommended not to be older than 5 years) headphones with microphone (USB headsets recommended) mobile web camera (external, USB) internet access (broadband internet with at least 4/2 Mbps speed) )

Operating system: Windows 10 or Mac (OS X 10.10 or higher) Web browser: Firefox, Chrome or Safari Java, Flash Player, PDF reader Note: Windows 7, 8 and Internet Explorer are no longer supported !!
Study mobile
You will also be able to access the virtual Blackboard teaching environment through the special Blackboard Mobile learn app on your tablets and smartphones (iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, Android mobile devices). The app provides access to the most important educational content virtually anywhere, anytime. Thus, by facilitating mobile study, DOBA, as the first institution in the field of tertiary education in Southeast Europe, Slovenia and Serbia, follows the trends of mobile education in the world. Tablets and smartphones can otherwise access the Blackboard teaching environment, but only for insight and content monitoring, however, this is by no means sufficient for active and effective study.
Office 365 Collection for Email, Collaboration and Communication
The Office 365 (Education A1) online toolkit is available to students and lecturers, which includes 50GB e-storage, access to SharePoint tools and communication with Skype for Business.
How we provide high quality online study
UNIQUe International Accreditation and the EOCCS International Certificate confirm that online studies at our faculty are conducted to high international standards. The programs, which take place remotely, are accredited in accordance with the National Accreditation Criteria and external evaluation of higher education institutions and study programs. The model and standards for conducting online studies are in line with international standards. Guidelines for the development of online studies are provided by top national and international experts at the Council for the Development of Online Studies. We provide state-of-the-art IT support for online study.
