Rejoice! Hundreds of thousands of people and companies are working on solutions to make your life better
Much to my husband’s chagrin, I have this capacity to take a simple event and extrapolate it into the meaning of the Universe.
The complicated inner workings of my brain are playing out now in figuring out how my oven cleaning itself makes me feel.
Spoiler alert: It makes me feel connected and supported by the Universe and all things fabulous.
Read on to see how I mentally got from point A to point B. And how this little exercise can change your perspective in a big way, too.
How did I not know this?
I pushed the “clean” button on my oven, and it dry-cleaned itself. And did a damn good job of it.
Mark that one off my to-do list ✅.
Which got me thinking.
Are other wondrous things in my life right in plain sight that I fail to appreciate?
So I went on a life treasure hunt of sorts.
I set an intention to look at the world from a different perspective–to find the positives rather than the negatives.
It was a great day.
Right next to the oven is the dishwasher. I wouldn’t say I like loading it, but I never take it for granted because there was a time when I had to wash every single dish by hand. And I had five kids. And we never ate out.
Getting a dishwasher was like hiring a full-time employee for me. Glorious day.
Miracle appliance. So is my washer and dryer.
I could go on and on:
- My mini-van tells me when I’m about to back into something!
- Echo tells me the weather and plays dance music on command.
- At work, discovering the free app, Canva meant I didn’t have to hire a designer.
And those are relatively minor things compared to medical breakthroughs. For example, I conceived three babies through IVF. Miracle.
My sweet grandson had a life-saving heart transplant a year ago.
Crazy stuff, ya’ll.
Think about it.
There you were, having some major problems in your life. And out there in the world, hundreds of thousands of people and companies were working on a solution to make your life better.
And it’s happening more quickly than ever.
Just for you!
Here’s my point:
Try changing your perspective. Just for today, and see what happens.
You may discover some hidden treasures in your own life. See that you aren’t alone–you are truly connected to others who are doing things to make your life better and better.
When you take more time to see the opportunities rather than the roadblocks, you start to feel limitless. Buoyant. Lifted. Supported.
I want that for you. Try it and let us know how it goes!
