Riots in front of the Assembly of Belgrade. The members of the opposition are trying to enter the building, as announced by the speakers at the protest, but security and strong gendarmerie forces do not allow them. The gendarmerie threw tear gas, and the protesters tried to break the door with sticks, which the police are protecting from the inside with their bodies.

Srđan Milivojević calls the police to leave the building.

The glass on the door of the Assembly was broken, as well as the surrounding transparent ones, and the crowd chanted: “Vučić, thief”, “We will not give victory”; and they asked for the doors of the City Assembly to be opened.

Previously, a protest was held by the opposition gathered around the “Serbia against violence” coalition. in front of the Republican Election Commission (REC) building in Belgrade.

The holder of the Serbia against violence list, Miroslav Aleksić, called on the citizens to form a ring around the Assembly, and the deputies to enter the City Assembly from where they will address the citizens.

At the beginning of the protest, the representative of the Democratic Party, Srđan Milivojević, addressed the citizens.

“No more talking and no more talking, we didn’t call you to walk and march anymore, we called you to action, concrete. The people’s suffering broke out, and the cup of anger spilled over. “Listen carefully, Parisian Dahijo, you who stole the elections, these people tell you – it’s almost theft like the world has never seen”, said Srđan Milivojević.

According to Milivojević, they called elections in half of the territory of Serbia and then moved people to supposedly win.

“We do not trade victory in Belgrade, and we won here, Belgrade is a free city. There is no trade with a thief, the thief must be held accountable. “We are asking for the annulment of the election, not for colluding with the state security branch that participated in the election,” stated Milivojević and called on citizens to turn on the lights on their phones and said, “We are the light, and they are the darkness.”

Aleksandar Jovanović Ćuta said that tonight is not the time for words but for actions.

“It is not time for words, but for actions. I’ll tell you what the plan is – starting tonight, this building will be free, that’s the plan. Tonight we decide to live as free people”, said Aleksandar Jovanović Ćuta.

He announced the opposition’s plan to occupy the presidency building tonight and asked the citizens not to go first, but to wait for them.

“We did our best to save every one of your votes. And we caught on the Bulgarian trains, voting from home, bringing voters… SNS lost the elections, we call on them to hand over power peacefully because they are not legitimate representatives but ‘usurpers,'” said lawyer Sofija Mandić.

Marinika Tepić, the holder of the list of Serbia against violence, who has been on hunger strike for the seventh day, also spoke.

“After the 2021 elections, Aleksandar Vučić announced – because of one vote, the elections are repeated. Because of one vote, the election is annulled. And the only thing this country should have provided to its citizens was to freely choose those who would lead the country. But they stole, Vučić, you stole. Not one, but thousands and thousands of voices. It was stolen, and that’s why we are telling you from this place and quoting you – these elections are annulled”, said Tepić.

Citizens were greeted by Smiljan Banjac, pointing to the Presidency building and inviting those present to greet the one who lives there, to which the present responded with a thunderous “Whoa”.

Banjac pointed to electoral fraud in favor of the progressive regime, “and by that I mean Vučić”.

“I remind him that we already dismissed one in the late nineties,” said Banjac.

He pointed out that the demand is very clear, the annulment of elections at all levels.
