Mufti in holy city urges Arabs, Muslims to fulfill responsibilities towards Palestinian people
Jerusalem’s provincial religious authority for Muslims on Tuesday hailed Turkey’s support for the Palestinian cause.
Speaking with Ahmet Riza Demirer, head of the temporary Turkish mission to Palestine, Muhammed Hussein stressed the “depth of historical ties between the Palestinians and the Turks.”

The mufti also briefed the Turkish ambassador about the Palestinian situation under Israeli occupation.
